Is this a Reverse? |   |
| Q | If opener opens with a convenient minor, then bids a major at the two level, is that a reverse? |
| A | Depends how the bidding goes.   1D   1H   2S   would be a jumpshift.   1D   1S   2H   would be a reverse. See our 'reverses' page for more information. |

Stayman with 6 Card Major? |   |
| Q | Partner opens 1NT and I have 6 spades and 4 hearts. Do I bid 2 clubs Stayman? |
| A | Yes, partner might have 4 hearts and no spades so you have to explore. If you don't find a 4-4 fit then you can bid the spades to check on a different kind of fit. |

22 Point Overcall |   |
| Q | We play 5 card majors, weak 2 bids. You are south. East opens with 1 spade. I was South with 22 points. What do I bid? |
| A | A good bid is to start with a double to get partner in on the action. Later you can bid or cuebid to get across your strong point count. Click here for overcall bid cards. |
