Let's start over. West leads the QH.

1)		You win the opening lead by ruffing in hand.
2)		You try the Spade finesse and East wins the King.
3)		If East leads the AH you will trump it and your KH will be good. If East leads a low Heart you will let it ride around to your King, so East leads a Club. You win with the Ace.

4)		You lead the KD and West wins their Ace.
5)		West leads a Heart which you ruff in hand.

Now you are in control. You have as many trumps as West so you can draw them and run the rest of your good tricks in Clubs and Spades. The key to this hand is recognizing the "danger hand".

REPLAY OF THE HAND

West is the dangerous defensive player since they can make leads through your KH. When East is stuck with the lead they will be leading TO your King. If you lead trump first, they will get to lead hearts a total of 3 times making you ruff each time. If you play Spades first (have to finesse sooner or later) East is endplayed in Hearts and the opponents will only be able to make you ruff twice in the long hand.
