Quiet Up There
I learned to play Bridge when I was but a lad of 12 or so. Everyone in the family played Bridge; parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visiting my cousin one summer we got to playing late one night. We had been sent to bed and talked for a long time, but then got up as we were too wound up to sleep.    We played and played for a long time. My cousin and I somehow wound up in a small slam missing an Ace and two Kings. We made it though and got to laughing and hollering so loud that my aunt suddenly appeared in the doorway hands-on-hips with a few choice words for us. It was almost 1:00 in the morning and we had woken them up through 3 closed doors and 1 flight of stairs.
