Bridge Terms


  Second Negative  When partner forces you to bid you have to respond, even with nothing. If they force you again and you really do have nothing then you have to give them a second negative.
 
  Pre Alert  Informing your opponents before the hand of an unusual bidding convention you have.
 
  Delayed Alert  Informing your opponents of a bid after the bidding is done but before the hand has started playing.
 
  Tickets  Your cards, especially good ones.
